Internet dating is something that i always looked down on and always looked down on the people that used the internet dating websites. I always thought that it was only used by people that were desperate or by people trying to con other members out of their money. However, i broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years and decided to give it a go after my brother had told me about how he met his wife. He had been using the internet dating websites and had found his true love. He had been using the site only for about 3 months when he met the most gorgeous of women that he said he had ever seen. They dated for a very short time before deciding to get married but it was definitely the right thing to do as they are still together to this day. They have their arguments but so does any other couple and they both compliment each other in the best of ways possible.

I got home from work late and was feeling a little bit unwell and couldn't sleep so i decided to register with one of the online dating websites and was amazed at just how many women there actually was from my own town and the surrounding towns that i decided to make a profile and see what would happen from there. Next morning i checked my emails and had got an email from a woman that only lived a few streets away from me so we decided to meet up and went for a drink. I loved to touch her skin as it was so soft but i was amazed at how someone could live so close to me yet i don't remember ever seeing her before. We had a really good laugh together and hit it off well right from the start although i did make her laugh first as i tripped over the front step going in to her lounge and stood up with the reddest of faces. All i could think of was 'what a great first impression'. We joked about how we met on the internet dating website as she too had never tried it before but now i'm sure she is glad that she did. We carried on seeing each other for about 4 months when her birthday arrived and i took her out for a meal and proposed to her at the end of the night.
